feels soo good

I grew up surfing in Florida and found out you can do that on a mountain, well kinda. I wanted a board that would feel like a surfboard but the traditional board I had didn't cut it. After watching countless videos and reviews on different boards that will suit my style I chose the SMOKE. I was BLOWN away on how well this board performs on mountain. As my carving skills progressed this board was there the whole way. I can lay down some hard carves on the groomers and still plow through some powder. This board was meant for people who love the surfy feeling and flow. I will forever keep this board in my Quiver and hopefully get the Mosquito as well.

I have never heard of Nidecker and have been riding Jones boards for several years now, but was drawn to the looks of The Smoke. I grew up surfing in Hawaii and have been looking at recreating that feeling on frozen waves. This board is what I have been looking for, even on groomers it gives me almost that same surf flow and it blew me away when I took it into deep powder last week. This board rips;it carves as well as it floats and it looks like a board Darth Vader would use.

I am a big fan of Nidecker boards owning an Alpha APX, a Mosquito and now a Smoke.
I know the Mosquito from the begnning after having experienced the first version in red and I thank Nidecker (TK) for having shaped and improved such a great, funny and fast moving board.
We rediscover the sensations of being on the water with the snowsurf collection doing cutbacks on the side of the sloap which is great fun.
With the Smoke I was looking for something more stable knowing that it would be slightly less playful and that is exactly what it does.
The DNA of the snowsurf range is here, but with a product that's more stable on the edge but still super fun to ride. I LOVE IT!
I use the Mosquito with Supermatic bindings but the Smoke with Kaon CX (Carbon) which i like very much for the stiffness and control it gives to me.
I strongly recommend these two boards to any rider who's looking for fun and performance in the mountains on all kinds of snow.
In powder I'm almost tempted to say that it all works very well, but these two boards give you enormous sensations.
