Shape and Profile

Surfy CamRock - Features extended rocker at the nose and regular camber through the rest of the board. Together with a shorter tail, it allows you to glide over bumps or pow and initiate turns off the back foot for a unique, surf-like ride.

Tech Details

  • Construction

    N-Tech 2.0

Our most advanced manufacturing process combines elements of cap and sandwich construction while shaving weight in the middle of the board. The result is a powerful flex from tip to tail that still allows precise torsional feel and edge control.

  • Topsheet

    Absorbnid

An innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. Enjoy a smooth ride with less fatigue.

  • Inserts

    4x2/6+1

6 rows of inserts at 2 cm intervals gives you maximum choice of stance width and works with any binding on the market. An extra set of holes towards the tail provides a useful option for the deepest days.

  • Fiberglass

    Triax Plus

Fiberglass is woven in three directions at 45° for max stiffness. The result of extensive testing, Triax Plus uses different glass densities above and below the core to deliver more consistent torsional flex, better pop, and lightning response.

  • Core

    Mega Core

The most advanced core in our line is made from a premium blend of poplar and paulownia. Vertical layers of glass fiber reinforce each stringer to reinforce the flex and add explosive, lifelong snap.

  • Base

    N-12000 Graphite

Our fastest ever base is made from race-grade, high density sintered material with added graphite for unmatched glide. Prepare for warp speed.

  • Added Carbon

    Carbon Cell

A forged carbon section at the heart of the board keeps it ultra stable between your feet and turbocharges response.

  • Exclusive Tech

    Orbital Cushioning

Shock-absorbing TPU material is built into the board surrounding the inserts. Enjoy a smoother ride and less foot-fatigue when charging hardpack or sending it deep into the landing.

  • Exclusive Tech

    Pow Diffuser

3D channels at the tail of the board improve glide in deep snow and funnel spray efficiently out from the base like an exhaust. Pow slashes have never been this much fun!

  • Exclusive Tech

    Titanium Boosters

Lightweight inlays function like a gas pedal underfoot, accelerating power transfer into your edges.

  • Exclusive Tech

    Zero_G Nose

We've completely removed the wood from a section of the nose and replaced it with forged carbon to generate featherweight, effortless float in deep snow.

  • 3D Shaping

    3DN Concept

The next level in construction. A 3D-milled core profile between the inserts lets you flex the board more precisely under each foot, delivering the ultimate feeling of control and a unique three dimensional riding experience.

I love this board

Honestly, I bought it because I though it looked cool and hoped Id like it. It has become my favorite and only board I ride now. Im a little older now and it never leaves the ground, but it handles groomed and shallow powder with control and precision Ive never had before. It might be great in deep powder too, but this hasnt been the winter for it at my mountain.

The best !

Sincelly the best board Ive had so far since 1993!

Agile, easy, and bloody efficient evrywhere. I wanted to improve my carving, Im not disapointed ! And flotability in powder is impressive !

Reliable board

Just got the 2023 megalight and I must say its a very reliable board. Holds an edge in any condition and floats in pow. Glad I got this for everyday riding all mountain

Excellent freeride board.. but will bite you when all-mountain.

I am Nidecker user since I started snowboarding in 2005, mainly freeride using Platinum. I love powder, but since Platinum are no longer produced, I have changed to Megalight this year (2023). I considered the Ultralight, but the all-mountain part of the Megalight was key for choosing this board, as I stay in the slopes when riding with my family.

With this said, this board will bite you on the slopes if you are not focused on your ride, it is very reactive and wants to be tamed, she wants powder, it's built for it, and since this season has been too hot in Europe, the resorts are packed with hard snow on the top and wet at the bottom, making your ride more physical, so, if you keep your ride checked, she will perform beautifully, sharp turns, nice buttering, switches, it let's you pop good olllies, but nollies were harder, at least for me.

This time I didn't go the park, age is catching up with my knees, but I did few tricks and jumps and the board feels light and sturdy.

Also, I did manage to get some "powder", and this thing glides on it.. is easy to keep the nose up and turns are clean, I enjoyed a lot,

All-in-all, I am happy with the Megalight, it performs nicely. Thanks Nidecker.

The board I always go back to and rely on

I have read many reviews on this board, but all I can tell you is it works for me. Brilliant carvability, excellent in powder, cuts through groomers, bounces through moguls. Is it a park board? I don't know, I never waste my time in the park. I have taken this board to Jackson, Baker and Chamonix. No regrets. I just got my second one because I thought the one I've had for 10 years needed to retire. It didn't. My son is riding it now.
