Bought and rode this boot for one day, great responsive boot like no other I have had before, outside materials built to last. But and this is a big But, I had to return them, the insole lining just wasn’t for me, after the first hour of the usual comfort fit you get with new boots, I managed to sort it, rode pain free the rest of the day, once I had the boot off at end of day realised I had nerve damage in my foot, looking at the lining it has a seem on top of the foot which then made my foot go numb for a week surprisingly, i had these boots heat moulded to,I feel they need to redesign the inner boot to a moccasin fit,with no over lapping seems, my old Photons inner seems but up to each other to prevent pressure points, such a shame I really liked these boots! I was lucky the retailer returned my money, so think twice if buying on line, try them on first! Just an honest review!

Good material and feels perfect. My shoe size is EU43 and I bought the boot in EU44.5 and its nearly small for me so I recomend to go up one size higher. So far my best boots

I am incredibly disappointed. It would be a great boot if the quality and the stiffess of the liner matched the shell, but it does not. after not even 20 days of riding, the liner has packed out so much that the boot is barely rideable. if i had known that, i'd either sized down a size or bought another product outright. and then there are those giant velcro strips on top of the liner that make it impossible to tighten the liner enough if your legs are on the skinnier side. i don't know if Nidecker does any product testing, because if they did, they'd found out that the whole concept of this liner just doesn't work. i'll now have to look for an aftermarket liner, or i can just trash this boot that cost me way over 500 Euros! not a good look, Nidecker.

Comfy fit, stiff and responsive just like boots should be

I love the boots I have only worn them of 3 days but they're super stiff. I feel like I have a lot of control with my turns

Relatively comfortable, although you need to make sure the tongue of the liner is not crimped! It is possible to get the boots very tight with the double Boa system but the lacing does loosen after an hour or so.
There is an issue with pairing with Supermatics, as recommended on Nidecker website. Since there is a good bit of forward lean angle on these boots, it exceeds the angle of lean available on the highbacks of the Supermatics. This results in the sub-optimal situation of having a 4-5mm gap between the boots and highbacks.

I've been using these boots for the first time this season. I love them and love them. They hold my ankles well when I'm carving, and they have a great delivery of force.
But there's only one thing I don't like about these boots (though I might have used it wrong), which is Velcro on the ankle.
The adhesion of Velcro is so good that it's inconvenient to take it off when you wear it,
It's always necessary to adjust the boots after 2 or 4 rides, but more tight or loose, because of Velcro, turning the BOA doesn't affect the inner boots. Eventually, you need to remove the boots from the binding, release the Boa again, and tighten the inner boots tightly.
I'm seriously thinking about getting the Velcro off.
If your company tests this once, I would like you to let me know the results.
Option 1. Remove Velcro.
Option 2. Remove Velcro and use a power belt such as BOOSTER.

This boot is perfect for carving.

I like the hell lock. I can go all out with my carving skills without being afraid of my boot not holding me.

I'm a 12.5 shoe and went down to a 12. Tight fit but still comfortable walking around in them. Looking forward to putting these boots to use this season.

I have not rode them yet but comfortable and STIFF! LOVE THEM! Stiffer than the ride insano! The new standard for carving boot!

Tested the boot for several days. Super responsive and incredibly comfortable. It`s unusual that i can ride a brandnew boot out of box for the whole day without any pain! My boot of choice for any terrain!

Demo'd these last year and they were nuts; incredibly responsive, powerful and pretty relentless. But super comfortable with it. Love them!
