Megalight 2022

I got the Megalight 2026 and I’m absolutely stoked! Amazing quality, super light and stylish, just as promised. It looks incredible in person. Definitely one of the best boards I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended!

Honestly, I bought it because I though it looked cool and hoped I�d like it. It has become my favorite and only board I ride now. I�m a little older now and it never leaves the ground, but it handles groomed and shallow powder with control and precision I�ve never had before. It might be great in deep powder too, but this hasn�t been the winter for it at my mountain.

Sincelly the best board I�ve had so far since 1993��!

Agile, easy, and bloody efficient evrywhere. I wanted to improve my carving, I�m not disapointed ! And flotability in powder is impressive !

Just got the 2023 megalight and I must say it�s a very reliable board. Holds an edge in any condition and floats in pow. Glad I got this for everyday riding all mountain

I am Nidecker user since I started snowboarding in 2005, mainly freeride using Platinum. I love powder, but since Platinum are no longer produced, I have changed to Megalight this year (2023). I considered the Ultralight, but the all-mountain part of the Megalight was key for choosing this board, as I stay in the slopes when riding with my family.

With this said, this board will bite you on the slopes if you are not focused on your ride, it is very reactive and wants to be tamed, she wants powder, it's built for it, and since this season has been too hot in Europe, the resorts are packed with hard snow on the top and wet at the bottom, making your ride more physical, so, if you keep your ride checked, she will perform beautifully, sharp turns, nice buttering, switches, it let's you pop good olllies, but nollies were harder, at least for me.

This time I didn't go the park, age is catching up with my knees, but I did few tricks and jumps and the board feels light and sturdy.

Also, I did manage to get some "powder", and this thing glides on it.. is easy to keep the nose up and turns are clean, I enjoyed a lot,

All-in-all, I am happy with the Megalight, it performs nicely. Thanks Nidecker.

I have read many reviews on this board, but all I can tell you is it works for me. Brilliant carvability, excellent in powder, cuts through groomers, bounces through moguls. Is it a park board? I don't know, I never waste my time in the park. I have taken this board to Jackson, Baker and Chamonix. No regrets. I just got my second one because I thought the one I've had for 10 years needed to retire. It didn't. My son is riding it now.

Been riding the same Mega light for 12 years, finallyost it's pop. Goes pow, crust, groomers, tree roots, you name it. Got the scars to prove it. If you're looking for a park board then go see the Burton website. I ask of this board at the last second, and it delivers. Today I buy a new one, no regrets

Es war bereits nach 5 Tagen auf der Piste defekt, aber das nur on top.
Habe es deshalb verkauft, und hab jetzt ein Burton Custom X.

Incredible big mountain powder or deep snow board. Fast and stiff on slopes. It glides and floats like no other.

I've been riding for 28 years. Freeride, park (but less than before) and resort. I've ridden a lot of boards since then. I was thinking, with all this tech, 3D and so on, it was not a board for me. But in the end, I found the ultimate board! Much more playful than its big sister, the Ultralight. A real everyday board.

I�ve had several megalights. Loved em all! This is a nice quality snowboard.

Alright, so I've been a rider for 28 years. I won't pump my tires too much but I would confidently rate myself in the top 5% percentile. I have riden Rossi, Salomon, Never Summer, Burton, K2, Jones, Lib, and been on everything from a tin man to a unibody to a west to a landlord. The Nidecker Megalight is a nightmare of a board on anything less than 15CM of snow. This is not a board to go play on, or carve groomers or hit the park with. The Megalight will kick your **** if you try to make it something it is not. That being said this board likes dry powder more than Americans like fast food. It provides a slide and glide that makes this the Big Mac of powder. Yet the value proposition isn't worth it, one run and done unless your cat or sled skiing your pretty much stuck battling a board on anything other than fresh untracked dry snow. Im fortunate to ride +100 days a year but the problem is for those that don't- this board takes the joy out of snowboarding and even makes me reluctant to get on any other Nidecker let alone buy one.
