Born in Mexico but raised in Switzerland. Started out skiing when I was 3 but changed to the snowboard when I was about 9 years old. We didn’t have a home Resort so we moved around every weekend to spend a lot of time on snow. I did my first competition when I was 14 on the Freeride Junior Tour, got to meet a lot of likeminded people and ride with them which made me progress a lot. Since then I moved on to the qualifiers the past years and now on to the FWT. I am also studying economy and psychology at Univerity.
TELL US ABOUT A STAND-OUT MOMENT FROM YOUR SNOWBAORD CAREER.
When I qualified for the FWT this season. I knew that with a win in the qualifier in Jasna I could secure my spot on the FWT. Luckily I was one of the last to drop and I was able to see the runs before me making me change my stragety last minute and in the end get the win.
WHEN YOU'RE NOT SNOWBOARDING, WHAT DO YOU LOVE DOING?
I love to stay very active, love to go surfing, biking, climbing, sports in general and spend time with my friends.
WHAT'S A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WISH YOU HAD WHEN YOU STARTED OUT SNOWBOARDING?
To spend more time doing all aspects of snowboarding. I used to do a lot of freeride and not spend that much time in the park but I really enjoy it now and made me a better snowboarder, wish I would have started earlier.
