This next level construction steps up the power and response of our standard sandwich manufacturing. By adding advanced materials such as Carbon and Kevlar ® we can give the board more pop and and improved shock absorption.
This unique construction is the result of years of R&D and we believe represents the future of snowboard construction. Combining both Sandwich and Cap construction and adding our Freerlex 2.0 and 3DN Concept has allowed us to step up what riders have come to expect from high performance snowboards.
This innovative top layer has been developed to absorb unwanted vibrations, this allows us to develop responsive and dynamic boards which still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride.
The CARBONID is a full Carbon layer developed specially for our top of range Ultralight and Spectre Carbon. Mixed with the multi strand glass layers, this explosive combination delivers the ultimate power and reaction.
This combination is the industry standard. With 5 rows of inserts every 2 cm it will fit all the bindings on the market. Our reference stance will be always the middle position.
This combination of insert allows you to adjust your stance to the optimum position. With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm it will work for all the bindings on the market. Our reference stance is on the second most narrow position possible.
This basic insert pattern is the first step to finding your optimum stance when you start snowboarding. With 4 rows of inserts every 4 cm it gives you a large possibility of stance options. Our reference stance will be always the middle position.
Our ultimate combination of fibers will fit all your needs. Basalt, Carbon and Kevlar® (BCK) placed from the tail to the rear inserts and from the nose to the front inserts provides a lighter board and all the advantages of the BCK fibers: increased pop, increased torsional stiffness, and reactivity.
Our standard 90° biaxial fiberglass is designed for forgiving response throughout your ride and a predictable torsional flex. It is bombproof, and reliable and is perfect for all terrain types and riders.
Strategic Carbon fiber placed from the tail to the rear inserts, and from the nose to the front inserts, allows for better response, increased pop and stiffness. This is ideal for more aggressive riding, and gives you a damper ride in all conditions.
The result of extensive testing with our riders and engineers, our Triax laminate is oriented at 35° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.
Two strips of Kevlar® and Carbon deliver a comfortable ride, reducing vibration and chatter under your feet. It gives you the confidence to go bigger and faster, no matter what the mountain throws at you.
This our standard poplar core combined with beech reinforcement. The beech on nose and tail provides more pop and better stiffness and torsion. If you like a consistent ride that has a lot of life, this core should be your go to wood core.
Our lightest core – featuring 3 different wood cores. The Light Core is a perfect combination of Paulownia for lightness, Poplar for pop and response and hardwood beech stringers along the edges to increase core durability, pop and protection from edge impacts.
The Master core construction is a product of our long history of experimentation in materials and woodcraft. It is the perfect harmony of different wood densities and wood species (poplar, beech, spruce, and paulownia) which lightens the core and results in a superior weight-to-performance-to power ratio, and an ultra-strong, uber-responsive, yet lightweight, core.
This is our universal base. It’s designed to absorb wax, retaining it longer. Exceptionally durable, this base will take you anywhere.
We added carbon nanoparticles to this sintered base to provide exceptional glide. It was developed exclusively for Nidecker and is extremely tough.
Our 9000 is the the fastest base available at NIDECKER today. Produced with carbon nanoparticles, it has a very dense molecular structure, making it our most durable base material.
Our 3D N-Concept takes snowboard construction to the next level. A unique core outline between the inserts means the board flexes differently under each foot, delivering the ultimate feeling of control and a 3D riding experience you’ll get from no other snowboard, at any price.
By reducing the wood and fiberglass in the nose and tail, but reinforcing them with lighter, yet stronger materials, Free Flex technology allows us to lighten up the board significantly while increasing strength, durability and pop. Free Flex also dampens vibrations and provides a unique, light feel in turn transitions.
In this NIDECKER exclusive technology, the nose and tail of the board are specially molded in a very thin composite material that is layered with a proprietary elastomeric covering. This cancels out vibrations and gives the board a unique lightweight feel in transitions. Free Flex 2.0 has one of the lowest swing weights in the industry, meaning less chatter and more control.
