Mellowはサーフライクなオールラウンドパフォーマンスが可能なディレクショナルボードが欲しいというライダーの要望を具現化したモデルです。明らかにテールよりノーズの方が大きく設定されたMellowは見た目通り、The Dayと言われるようなパウダーコンディションでその威力を発揮してくれます。パウダーでのディープターンや後足過重のサーフライクなライディング、激しいカットバックに特大スラッシュ、これらがMellowの主戦場です。
タイトに設定されたサイドカットとミディアムフレックスが備わっているので、見た目以上にオールラウンドに楽しむことができ、圧接バーンでも驚くようなエッジトゥエッジを披露してくれます。Surfy Camrockのおかげでボコボコとしたバーンや春先のスラッシーなバーンでもノーズが浮いている分、引っ掛からずにライディングリズムを狂わすことなく、滑れます。そしてトップシートにはアッシュべニア素材を使っているので、ナチュラルで落ち着いたマットフィニッシュを楽しむことができます。
