All-new for 2020/21, the latest Nidecker binding range incorporates state-of-the-art riding technologies into striking designs that optimise fit, feel and flex for the ultimate in all-mountain performance. And by combining the existing and exemplary Flow Axis baseplates with a traditional two-strap entry system, we’ve been able to ensure that the newborn range comes in at a lower price-point that ever before.

A LEGENDARY BASEPLATE

The existing Axis.N1-Series baseplate was already a favourite with the Flow team, so it made perfect sense to utilise it for Nidecker riders that prefer a more traditional two-strap design. By creating a tightly-integrated heelcup that can be retro-fitted to the original baseplate, it meant we could avoid creating new expensive injection molds and passing the savings directly on to the end user.

The existing Axis.N1-Series baseplate was already a favourite with the Flow team, so it made perfect sense to utilise it for Nidecker riders that prefer a more traditional two-strap design. Built with rockered corners and off-axis powerbeams, the Axis.N1-Series baseplates are designed as they are used, so the flex and power-transfer systems align with how the bindings are mounted, allowing you to get more from your turns whilst minimising chatter and foot pain.

Just like our sister brand Flow, our binding straps, baseplates and HiBacks are 3D-molded around Nidecker boots exterior lasts, so that by combining the two you’re guaranteed a perfect FlowFit for the most natural connection between you and your board possible. From your feet through your boots and bindings, FlowFit ensures the best fit, feel and flex.

ASYMMETRICAL HIBACKS

Whether it’s the pressed 3k carbon fiber C6-HiBack on the Kaon-CX or the tough nylon molded Hadron-HiBack present on the rest of the range, both are built around our core asymmetrical design principles. Asym HiBacks transmit energy more efficiently whilst providing comfort and support where you need it most, and when paired with Nidecker boots the fit lines up with our signature Asym boot cuffs.

A brand-new binding needs brand new straps, so for 2021 our new ExoFrame ankle straps feature on the Kaon-CX, Kaon-X, Kaon-W and Prime, whilst Hexo Toe Cap Straps with AuxTech feature across the board.

The new ankle strap design is built around an ExoSpine design that focuses energy directly through the straps into the baseplate, whilst the suspended ExoFrame gives superior comfort and support to your foot.
