The Altai is the centrepiece of the new Nidecker boot collection, offering premium features and freeride-friendly support at an unbeatable price. It’s built around an asymmetrical upper that fits perfectly with Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-coated laces and twin dials to allow you to control the upper and lower sections independently. Underneath, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole delivers awesome cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe-tip to boost grip when hiking over ice and rock.
We’ve smoothed out the connection between the outsole and the boot via a molded section we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent it from getting caught in your binding’s heelcup. A tough rubber print on the toe box protects the boot and adds a touch more style. Inside, there’s a new heat-moldable Silver liner, allowing you to customize the fit if you need to but which is comfortable straight out the box. The Altai is a mid-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it great for digging trenches in the piste or floating through forests with pinpoint accuracy. The Boa® Mid Power Dual Zone uses a Boa® Coiler over the tongue, for strength and power, and the mid-power dial on the side. This configuration provides independent upper and lower zonal adjustment, snug fit and perfect support. Uses the TX3 lace for the best precision, responsiveness and support.
Ready for anything, designed to withstand. From park to podium, H4 resists impacts from the most demanding riders. Effortless and fast, the Coiler quickly takes up lace slack, increasing speed of entry into the boot.
This outsole comes with a full EVA bed for natural cushioning. We also added a soft rubber toe tip for extra grip. And if you look at the lugs, we got inspiration from the treads you see on snowcats. The result is maximum comfort and grip, and our lightest outsole.
Fully redesigned, this liner is pressure-point free; closure happens via the cuff attached to the shell inner. This also makes the liner a breeze to get on and off. To prevent tongue rotation, we’ve added Velcro patches on both sides to keep everything in place. There's a Custom Flex Zone around the toes for wiggle room, 8mm of PE foam and added PU support around the outsides for extra stiffness.
An extra layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel cup and anatomical arch, while more comfortable EVA offers more flexibility to the forefoot. A silicone top-print adds traction to the fleece-lined footbed.
