The Escape is equally comfortable pinning down trails, ducking into the trees or taking a lap through the park. Edge changes feel relaxed thanks to its CamRock profile, making this board super accessible to a wide range of shredders. We've added a subtle 10mm setback stance to help it mow over bumps, slush and deep snow, along with carbon for high speed control. A fresh graphic ensures our number one quiver killer looks just as sick as it rides.
  • The Escape's directional twin shape features a blunt tail and diamond nose that's super versatile from groomers to pow.
  • Carbon fiber is positioned between the inserts and the nose and tail – boosting ollie power and dampening chatter.

Love riding this board

Loved riding this board. Haven’t ridden on-mountain yet but can’t wait to let it off the leash. Took a gamble on this w/ Supermatic LTs - hadn’t tested either before purchase (not something I’d recommend ordinarily) but I had done my homework & was confident it’d suit my riding style & the specs were right for my frame (opted for the 156) - i am not disappointed. It’s ‘a mellow, cruisey, carver’, just what I want, but it rips too. And playful enough to throw around a bit, ride switch, butter, spin etc etc. Only downside is having to wait til next Winter now to get it in it’s natural habitat

Sounds like you did your homework and the 156 Escape paired with the Supermatic LTs landed exactly where you wanted it — mellow and cruisey when you want it, but still ready to rip. Love hearing that it’s playful enough for butters, spins, and riding switch too. Now it’s just the long wait until next winter to really let it loose on the mountain.

Quality really bad, riding good

The board performs well. I'm really pleased the way itvrides. But as mentioned by others the quality of the top layer is crap. Due to moisture the board is delaminating. It is my third Nidecker board. I had a Salomon in between and never those problems. Despite the 3 year warranty Nidecker does not compensate. They say the damage is due to impact. Although that is clearly not the case. Really disappointing if you see a lot of people have the same experience. The pictures show there hasn't been impact.
