At Nidecker, we recognize the importance of environmental sustainability and have taken extraordinary steps across our entire product line to use materials and apply processes that will reduce our impact on the environment. As part of this program, we insist that our materials be ecologically certified and every process we implement must meet or exceed sustainable norms. All of our materials and processes have been carefully selected with one eye toward quality and the other toward our impact on the world around us.
While these efforts have added cost to the process of building boards, the Nidecker family feels very strongly that these costs not be passed on to the consumer, and our prices have not risen as a result of these initiatives. We will continue to pursue excellence in snowboard manufacturing, developing new technologies and finetuning our products, but we don’t believe we must do this at the expense of the environment.
Nidecker has long been an industry leader in developing eco-friendly materials, products, and processes. Indeed, some of our sustainable processes have been in place almost since our inception – over 125 years ago! We believe a sustainable
future is within reach and will work ceaselessly toward that end. Our long-term goal is to produce the finest snowboards in the world, while reducing our overall carbon footprint to zero.
